The Flemington Association works to care for and enhance the special character and amenity of Flemington, including Newmarket and Travancore, for the benefit of all residents.
The Association is a not-for-profit organisation, run entirely by resident volunteers. The Association is not affiliated with any political party.
The Association provides a means for residents to raise concerns and make suggestions about matters affecting Flemington.
Ensures residents’ voices are heard by local, state and federal governments and VCAT.
Contributes to planning for Flemington’s future.
The Flemington Association has been active in the local community for more than 40 years and stems from groups going as far back as the Flemington Ratepayers Association, which formed in 1881. The Association incorporated in 2009.
The Flemington Association advocates on behalf of residents at various committees, hearings, and reviews. Our Resource Centre provides an opportunity to consider our position on many of the major projects
